It is a common practice in Astrology to set up horoscopes for equinoxes and solstices as indicators of social, economic and political trends for the following season. These ingress charts as they are called are usually set up for important locations such as major cities that are major financial centers such as London, New York, or Hong Kong and or the capital cities of major countries such as Washington DC, Berlin, Tokyo, or Beijing.

What is special about the winter Solstice of 2012 is that it is also the much written about and discussed end date of the Mayan calendar. As such it has great significance beyond that of the usual ingress chart. It is usually thought of as an impending major date in history when an old cosmic cycle of many thousands of years will come to an end and a new one will begin. It is generally thought that this date will be associated with vast spiritual, economic, political, cultural, and perhaps geological changes that will end the old cycle of civilization and initiate a new one. If this is so, then it is reasonable to suppose that the 2012 winter solstice horoscope could be used to describe the new type of global civilization that will emerge from the current world chaos. As such this horoscope would have great significance beyond describing the coming winter season. It can be used to gain insight into the qualities and distinguishing characteristics of the world wide culture and civilization of the new cosmic era.

I will not go into the ascendant, midheaven or astrological houses in this article as these will be different for each geographic location the 2012 winter solstice is set up for. The purpose of this article is to explore the implications the 2012 winter solstice horoscope has for the whole world and humanity in general.

Keep in mind that not all the potentials of this horoscope will manifest immediately. The long term potentials of this 2012 winter solstice chart in describing human society in the new era will take years, decades and in some cases even centuries to fully manifest. Over the next five or more years humanity will be in survival mode while coping with the consequences highly disruptive events slated to occur over the next 3 to 4 years. The winter solstice chart of 2012 is not just any winter solstice. It is in fact the much anticipated famous or infamous December 21st 2012 winter solstice that coincides with the end of the Mayan calendar and the perfect alignment of the Sun and the Earth on the winter solstice of 2012 with the equatorial plane of the Milky Way galaxy. Researcher Terrance Mac Kennan developed a mathematical system based on the I Ching that arrived at the same date. This brings an enormous influx of energy into our solar system and into planet Earth. The effects of this will profoundly influence the future of humanity on this planet for a long time to come. 2012 is a major time node where many cosmic cycles simultaneously end and begin anew.  Mankind is clearly at a monumentally important crossroads.

Doe this imply that on December 21, 2012 the ferry godmother will wave her magic wand and suddenly all our problems will go away and we will suddenly find ourselves in a paradise reality. Those of the more dire persuasion might anticipate total destruction of the Earth and mankind. I regard both scenarios as highly unlikely. That does not mean that the consequences might not be more serious than anything in our known history. How dire our immediate historical future is depends largely on if there is outside intervention and what the extent and purpose of such intervention is.

Without attempting to go beyond the scope of this article let me just say that there has been considerable research that leads to the conclusion that we have been thwarted and stunted by parasitical negative influences and also helped by positive influences throughout our history. It would be reasonable to expect that this is still happening. Even main stream official astronomy is increasingly of the opinion that or galaxy and the universe at large is filled with solar systems and habitable planets.  Using advanced telescopes and sophisticated optical and electronic instruments astronomers have already discovered dozens of solar systems in our local neighborhood of the Milky Way Galaxy. It would also be statistically improbable that we Earth humans would be the first species to venture into space. Mars in Virgo

Mars is not generally considered to be an outer planet, but when Mars does a retrograde cycle, which happens every 2 years He can spend up to 8 months in one sign. This is currently happening with Mars in Virgo. Mars entered Virgo on November 11, 2011.  Mars turned retrograde at 23 degrees of Virgo on January 24 2012. Mars turns direct at 3 degrees and 40 minutes of Virgo on April 14, 2012. Mars leaves Virgo on July 3, 2012.

Virgo is associated with the natural environment, public health, the medical profession, agriculture, food production, the labor force, the job market, labor unions, and the military. With Mars doing a retrograde cycle in Virgo all of these areas are in a state of crisis. There is massive unemployment happening all over the world. The world is in a massive food crisis with aberrant weather and crop failures on every continent. Because of the global depression that is now happening we can expect a more militant and aggressive labor movement, with strikes and demonstrations demanding jobs, a livable wage, and decent working conditions. This too is a world wide phenomenon. There is dangerous experimentation going on with the genetic engineering of viruses. If these organisms are released into the outside environment it could cause a panendemic. The United States is engager in wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, and is conducting drone attacks in Pakistan, and making incursions into Syria and Iran. If Israel and or the US attack Iran and its nuclear instillations it could escalate into world war three.

Transiting Mars while slowly turning direct makes a prolonged inconjunct aspect to Uranus from late March through mid May of 2012. This is a most precarious, destabilizing, dangerous, and potentially explosive aspect. The world is sitting on a powder keg which any slight spark could detonate. With this influence here is serious danger of natural disasters and industrial accidents.

In mid April Mars while stationary comes within less than a degree and a half of being in exact opposition to Neptune. This strongly suggests duplicity as in a false flag incident, and deceptive covert military operations.

Mars enters Libra on July 4 and is inconjunct to Neptune in early July and square to Pluto and opposition to Uranus by mid July. These also are extremely potentially violent, destructive and dangerous aspects. Mars inconjunct Neptune again suggests covert military agendas.

In this report I will cover some general predictions for 2012, based on progressions, solar arks, and transits to the US 7 degree Gemini rising Horoscope. This will have direct significance for the United States and for the American people but will also have some relevance for the rest of the world because what happens in America has a dynamic effect on the world at large.

As we enter January of 2012 transiting Mars is slowing approaching his stationary turning retrograde position at 23 degrees and 6 minutes of Virgo on January 24. This position is conjunct to Neptune in the 5th house of the Gemini rising US horoscope. This has the potential to create a financial panic and precipitate a stock market crash. This aspect is effective from about January 9 to February 9. Normally a Mars transit lasts 4 to 5 days. But when Mars is stationary a Mars transit can last a month if a 1 and ½ degree orb is used.

I am not saying that this timing for a stock market crash is a certainty but simply that from an astrologer’s point of view there is a greater potential for a crash to happen at that time. There is always free will involved, and in the unfolding of mass events there is the free will of many more people affecting the outcome, creating a far more complex situation. Predicting mass events is a much more challenging task than predicting for an individual or a family. When relating to the astrology of an individual a skilled and experienced astrologer usually has a pretty good idea of what is going on with the important issues in that person’s life, and what the future outcome is most likely to be.

In mundane astrology (the astrology of mass economic-political-social trends and events) the sign Virgo is associated with matters of public health, the work force (its employment or lack of it) and the military or armed services. Transiting Mars entered Virgo on November 12, 2011 and does not leave Virgo until July 4, 2012.

The greatest danger of this prolonged retrograde Mars in Virgo transit is a genetically engineered biowepon deliberately funded and covertly released by the international elitist fortune 50 corporations and central bank cartel for the purpose of global population reduction and forced vaccinations with vaccines containing dangerous ingredients designed to sterilize and slow kill the population. There are already reports that a bio-lab in Holland has developed a new air born genetically modified airborne version of the bird flew virus, that can easily transmitted from human to human by breathing in the virus. A panendemic based on this could easily kill hundreds of millions perhaps billions of people. If this seems like an exaggeration, consider that the 1918 flue epidemic killed 100 million people. For that matter the black plague wiped out half the population of Europe. If this newly genetically engineered virus got out in the open the results could be catastrophic. Saturn in Virgo (September 3, 2007 to October 30 2009 and April 8, 2010 to July 11 2010) produced massive unemployment world wide as I said it would, and coincided with the main stream media hyped swine flue scare which was used to promote dangerous deliberately contaminated flue vaccines. Soldiers were used as guinea pigs to test the effects of dangerous injections laced with toxic ingredients. The established power structure is afraid of disgruntled returning veterans who have been trained to kill and who know first hand how destructive and evil the power structure has become. That is why the elitists covertly want to slow kill returning veterans using depleted Uranium, toxic vaccines, and other methods.
